PSK platform maklumat untuk PKS

KUALA LUMPUR 15 Okt. - Kementerian Pemba­ngunan Usahawan (MED) melancarkan Pusat Sehenti Keusahawanan (PSK) yang berkonsepkan pusat fizikal sebagai platform penyebaran maklumat mengenai usahawan serta perusahaan kecil dan sederhana (PKS).

Menteri Pembangunan Usahawan, Datuk Seri Mohd. Redzuan Md. Yusof berkata, PSK berperanan sebagai pusat penyimpanan data, mendapatkan maklum balas serta memberi khidmat nasihat kepada usahawan di seluruh negara terutama di Lembah Klang.

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 14 (Bernama) -- International Trade and Industry (MITI) Minister, Datuk Darell Leiking will be leading a trade and investment mission to Japan from Oct 14 to 17, and South Korea from Oct 18 to 21, 2018.

In a statement today, the ministry said the mission would comprise officers from MITI, Malaysian Investment Development Authority, Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation, State Governments such as Penang, Melaka and Terengganu, as well as 76 representatives from local companies.

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 11 (Bernama) – Malaysia’s manufacturing sales recorded a growth of 8.1 per cent, rising to RM70.4 billion in August 2018 from RM65.1 billion reported in the same period last year, says the Department of Statistics Malaysia.

In its publication ‘Monthly Manufacturing Statistics’, Chief Statistician Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Uzir Mahidin said the significant increase in sales value for the month under review was due to the increase in electrical and electronics products (9.3 per cent); petroleum, chemical, rubber and plastics products (7.7 per cent); and transport equipment & other manufactured products (10.1 per cent).

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 (Bernama) -- The Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development and its agencies will be working together with the Small Medium Enterprise Development Bank (SME Bank) to help boost women’s participation in business.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, who is also Women, Family and Community Development Minister said according to the Economic Census 2016, the number of women businesswomen was still small, accounting for only 20.6 per cent of the total number SME entrepreneurs in the country.
