IPOH, Aug 7 (Bernama) — Investments worth RM249.8 million has been approved in Perak in the first quarter (Q1) of this year, based on the latest information from Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA). State Investment and Corridor Development Committee Chairman Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin said out of the total, some RM235.7 million was from local investments while the remaining RM14.1 million constituted foreign investments.
