KUALA LUMPUR, April 25 (Bernama) — The Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) announced the appointment of Datuk Abdul Majid Ahmad Khan, President of Malaysia-China Friendship Association who is also the Honorary Chairman of the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce, as the new Chairman of MIDA, effective April 22, 2019. Abdul Majid’s career spans over three decades in the civil service including the Prime Minister’s Department and several Malaysia Missions abroad and senior positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
