Jengah pasaran Eropah Timur

KUALA LUMPUR: SME Corporation Malaysia (SME Corp) merancang untuk meningkatkan eksport perusahaan kecil dan sederhana (PKS) dengan meneroka pasaran di Eropah Timur seperti Balkan dan juga negara di sepanjang Laluan Sutera. Ketua Pegawai Eksekutifnya, Noor Azmi Mat Said berkata, sebagai agensi penyelaras PKS, insiatif pasaran baharu itu bagi meningkatkan sumbangan eksport dapat berkembang kepada 23 peratus pada 2020 berbanding 17 peratus ketika ini.

KUALA Lumpur: Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) yakin penubuhan pusat perkhidmatan pelanggan BNMLINK dan BNMTELELINK akan terus membantu serta memudahkan orang ramai menangani isu dan aduan mengenai hal di bawah bidang kuasa BNM. Pengarah Jabatan LINK dan Pejabat BNM, Datin Arlina Ariff berkata, setakat ini Bank Negara Malaysia Laman Informasi Nasihat dan Khidmat (BNMLINK) menerima 2,500 pertanyaan setiap hari berkaitan perkhidmatan institusi kewangan, insurans serta takaful.

PETALING JAYA: Khazanah Nasional Bhd’s executive director for investment Datuk Hisham Hamdan (pic) has been appointed as the new chairman of UDA Holdings Bhd, a Finance Ministry-owned property development company. The Entrepreneur Development Ministry said in a statement yesterday that Hisham’s appointment as the chairman of UDA Holdings was effective from Feb 28.

KUALA LUMPUR, March 11 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) has signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with retail group, JW United Group, to introduce a new television (TV) segment and package called "e-USAHA-ONE", aimed at assisting local small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The new 12-minute programme, to be broadcast live over the “Nine11” talk show over Bernama News Channel (BNC) from Monday-Friday, will also be shown through streaming channels such as MYTV, Njoi, Bernama WebTV, Bernama YouTube, Unifi and Iflix.

KUALA LUMPUR (March 7): Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng (pictured) said today Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Bhd's RM3 billion Industry Digitalisation Transformation Fund forms a part of the nation's Budget 2019 initiatives to push Malaysia towards Industry 4.0 by accelerating the adoption of new technology including robotics, big data and artificial intelligence. Noting that Malaysia as a manufacturing-based and export-driven economy, Lim emphasised that the country cannot afford to be left behind by this massive change.
